Live Webinar:

Asia-Pacific Semiconductor Export Controls: What Compliance Teams Need to Know

Cost: $195.00

Learn what's changing in APAC semiconductor export controls and what it means for your compliance program.

There are two sides to every U.S. semiconductor transaction, and more often than not, a customer, transit hub, or supplier in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region is going to be on the other side of that transaction (even when not including China). And like U.S. semiconductor export controls, the semiconductor export controls of countries in the APAC region are evolving rapidly, including expanding in scope and seeing more rigorous enforcement. As a follow on to ECTI's May 28 webinar on U.S. semiconductor export controls, this webinar provides the second piece to end-to-end compliance "best practice" for those with U.S-APAC semiconductor supply chain touch points, whether you're a functionary or follower of your company's internal control program (ICP).

This webinar will cover broader regional trends and comparisons, specific national developments, and compliance implications and guidance when it comes to APAC semiconductor export controls. Specifically, the webinar will:

  • Highlight APAC semiconductor export control changes in national control lists, the scope of end-use and end-user controls, and licensing processes;

  • Survey the current status of semiconductor export controls in Japan, Philippines, Malaysia, Republic of Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, and Vietnam;

  • Benchmark the semiconductor export controls of APAC countries against each other and the U.S.; and,

  • Offer tips on tracking semiconductor-related regulatory changes and item classifications across APAC jurisdictions, engaging with local regulators, and managing controlled technology, among others.
