Live Webinar:
2026: The Export Control Year in Review
Cost: $195.00
A look back at the most significant export control developments of 2026, their impact on trade compliance, and what to watch for in the year ahead.
In 2026, regulators kept exporters, financial institutions, technology companies, and their compliance teams supplied with fresh rules, new restrictions, shifting expectations, and the occasional announcement nobody asked for. Join us for a brisk, practical tour of the year’s U.S. export control and sanctions developments—because “I thought the rules were different last quarter” is not a compliance strategy. This webinar will separate the developments that matter from the noise that merely ruined your lunch.
Topics will include:
• Amendments to the U.S. Munitions List: civil aircraft with survivability equipment, uncrewed underwater vehicles (UUVs)
• ITAR country policy changes: Ethiopia, Somalia, Syria and more
• AUKUS exemption clarifications, clean-up, and commentary
• Relaxations on EAR-controlled drones
• BIS Affiliates Rules state of play
• More favorable treatment of the United Arab Emirates
• The latest on AI chip, semiconductor manufacturing equipment and related controls
• Changes to firearm suppressor (silencer) controls in the ITAR/EAR
• DDTC proposals to amend the ITAR: USML revisions, definitions, a new exemption, and political contributions, fees, and commissions
• Enforcement trends, notable resolutions, and expensive reminders
Bring your questions, your compliance checklist, and whatever remains of your optimism. Scott will bring a clear summary of 2026 and practical ideas for starting 2027 off right.
