Michael Huneke is a partner in Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP’s International Trade & National Security practice. Mike helps multinational companies with designing, executing, and defending frameworks for making subjective assessments of risk with imperfect information, especially under probability-based enforcement regimes such as US export controls, the US Department of the Treasury’s Outbound Investment Rule, and the US Department of Commerce’s Office of Information and Communications Technology and Services regime. Mike is the co-host of the Red Flags Rising podcast, which focuses on helping trade compliance professionals identify, assess, and mitigate “red flags” indicating potential export controls risks in today’s challenging geopolitical environment.
