DDTC Updates ITAR 126.1 Prohibited Countries List

Effective August 8, the Department of State has amended the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) to update the ITAR 126.1 prohibited countries policies. The change reorganizes and cleans up the prior 126.1 and adds to 126.1 countries such as Cyprus, Lebanon and Fiji that previously were treated as if they were in 126.1 even though they were not listed.
